Jammu , Feb 19: Prof. (Dr) Bechan Lal, Vice Chancellor, Cluster University of Jammu embarked on his maiden visit to Govt. M.A.M College Jammu. He was accompanied by Dr. Jatinder Khajuria, Registrar, Cluster University of Jammu, Dr. Geetanjali Rana, Dean Humanities & Liberal Arts, Dr. Twinkle Suri, Dean Students Welfare & Dr. Sanjay Verma, Dean Sciences. Prof. Sunil Uppal, Principal of the host college formally welcomed the dignitaries and gave a detailed presentation of the various UG/PG Academic Programmes offered by the college, details of Teaching and Non-Teaching employees, Infrastructure available and student achievements in Academics, Sports and Literary Events.
Dr. Twinkle Suri, Dean Students Welfare, CLUJ also gave a detailed purview of the Departmental activities, lack of infrastructure in sports and varied students achievements of her department. Dr. Geetanjali Rana, Dean Humanities also presented a brief profile of PGI School of Humanities and Linguistics Department.
The Vice Chancellor lauded the efforts of various departments and showed his full support and cooperation in making Cluster University a hub of excellence. He also took a round of the whole campus taking stock of various development works.
Prof. Shahnaz Qadri and Prof. Bharti Slathia anchored the proceeding of the event. while Dr. Banpreet Kour coordinated the programme and Dr. Atiya Noor presented a formal vote of thanks. |
