JAMMU, Mar 13: Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic when everybody is trying to be the new normal, 24 NCC Cadets of Jodhamal Public School along with their ANO Poonam Sarmal attended CATC Camp at NCC camping ground Nagrota, Jammu for 10 days recently.
Approximately 400 cadets from different Schools and Colleges of the state attended the camp. The cadets were trained by expert Army Instructors. NCC Cadets enhanced their skills in Shooting, Drill, Games, Debates, Paintings, Yoga, PT etc.
As in today's fast changing world, life skills also play a pivotal role in enhancing one's personality, so their life skills were also enhanced such as Self-confidence, Leadership traits, Self-discipline etc. It is pertinent to mention that the cadets excelled in various competitions such as Ayesha Hayaat won 2 gold medals in Shooting and Basketball, Vidhi Dhallam won 2 gold medals in Mic Control and Basketball, Akakshi Khajuria won silver medal in painting, Czia Raina won silver medal in Tray Drill, Shiven won silver medal in Badminton, Tarushi Gupta, Gayatri, Aaradhya Jamwal and Jasmeh Kour won gold medals in Basketball match. The Trustee Nandan Kuthiala and the Principal Deep Khare appreciated the NCC cadets for their enthusiastic participation and achievements. |
