DSE Jammu cancels detachment order issued by CEO Rajouri within a day
‘Rationalization of teaching staff sabotaged’
3/13/2021 11:49:54 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Mar 13: Sabotaging the efforts in implementation of rationalization policy of School Education Department, the Director School Education (DSE) Jammu today cancelled an order regarding the detachment of teachers issued by the Chief Education Officer (CEO) Rajouri within a day and any inquiry was ordered against the CEO Rajouri. As per documents with Early Times, the Chief Education Officer Rajouri had issued an Order No. CEOR/E2/ 47601-605 dated 12-03-2021 regarding repatriation of teaching staff of district Rajouri attached or deployed in District Jammu in compliance with the Director School Education Jammu’s order No. 301 DSEJ of 2020 dated 30-07-2020 and Deputy Commissioner Rajouri’s instructions from time to time.
Order further reads that in regarding marking of attendance and uploading of other data in Rajouri School Information System (RSIS), the below teachers attached or deployed in district Jammu are hereby directed to report back to their original place of posting by or before 15-03-2021.
But shockingly the DSE Jammu today issued another order No 604-DSEJ of 2021 dated 13-03-2021 and cancelled the order issued by CEO Rajouri, which was strongly criticized by the various teaching associations. “In view of the shortage of teaching staff in various schools across Jammu region, the implementation of rationalization policy is the need of the order.
We hailed the step taken by CEO Rajouri, who took initiative by issuing order of detachment of teaching staff of Rajouri district attached or deployed in Jammu but the move taken by DSE Jammu by cancelling the order has sabotaged the move,” said president of All Teacher Association J&K.
Not only this, even the DSE Jammu ordered Joint Director School Education Shoket Mehmood to hold enquiry into the Chief Education Officer Rajouri amounting to willful disobedience. Interestingly the list of eight teachers, which was issued by the CEO Rajouri, wherein majority of teachers are attached with the office of Directorate School Education Jammu.
Repeated attempts to contact the Joint Director DSE Jammu failed as his phone was in the switched off mode.
