3/13/2021 11:59:12 PM
Early Times Report

JAMMU, Mar 13: J&K Pradesh Youth Congress (JKPYC) on Saturday staged protest against Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) for adopting anti- youth policies and its failure to create job policy for the unemployed youth of the country in general and J&K in particular.
Led by Uday Bhanu Chib, President J&K PYC, the Young Congress activists staged protest outside Gandhi Nagar Police station and shouted slogans against BJP led Union Government for its failure to address the issue of BSF, CISF aspirants who are on protest for the last so many days in support to their demands.
Pertinent to mention here that BSF and CISF medically fit candidates were on protest outside BJP’s office in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu for the last so many days seeking jobs in para-military personnel. Today, J&K Police has detained more than 80 youths who were on peaceful protest for the last so many days. Ranjyot Singh, State Secretary JKPYC was also detained.
Uday said that BJP has made promised to create 2 crore jobs per year but after attaining power at the Centre, the party has been miserably failed to fulfil its promises made with the youth of the country. “Jammu and Kashmir among states, which have highest unemployment rate,” he further said.
Uday said that BJP has been curbing the voice of common masses as well as the youth of J&K. “Everyone has right to protest and raise their voice but the government has inhumane attitude towards the youth,” he added.
Avijot Singh, State General Secretary JKPYC asked the BJP led Government at the Centre not to crush the voice of youth of the country who are the major contributor in forming a government at the Centre. He asked the BJP leadership to fulfil its promises made with the youth by creating two crore jobs per year and take all possible steps in fulfilling the demands of the protesting BSF and CISF aspirants.
