Navreh Premier League: Matches played on Saturday, Sunday

Jammu, Mar 14: In the ongoing Navreh Premier League on Sunday league matches were played between JMCC and Vinayaka. Match was won by Vinayaka.
Winning the toss, JMCC chose to ball first. Vinayaka scored 175/8 in 20 overs. In reply JMCC scored only 125/10 in 19 overs. Surinder was declared as Man of the Match. Surinder scored 40 in 36 balls. He took 2 wickets/18 runs in allotted 4 overs.
In the second league match, played between FCC and Sharika. Toss was won by Sharika and elected to bat. Sharika scored 129/4 in 20 overs. In reply FCC scored 130/4 in 17.4 overs. Shailendra Salathia was declared as Man of the Match. He scored 60 runs in 43 balls and not out
Chief guest was Mr. M. K. Raina, MD Endurance Heavy Earth Movers. On Saturday, League matches were played between Bhaarat Cricket Club and Durga Cricket Club. In the intended 20-hours Bhaarat Club made 145 runs in 20 overs at the loss of 5 wickets. Chasing the huge target, Durga Club managed to make only 77 runs in 13 hours while losing all the wickets. Bhaarat Club won by 68 runs. Karan was declared as Man of the Match.
In another match RSCC Jairaj won by 30 runs by beating Alpha Production. Batting first RSCC made 144 runs in 19.3 hours losing all the wickets. Chasing the target, Alpha was all out on 113 runs and lost all the wickets. Rajesh Salgotra was declared as Man of the Match.
Chief guest, Ajay Raina, Prop. Endurance Heavy Earth Movers presented memento. Season-2 of Navreh Premier League started at country cricket stadium, Ambgrota on March 6. About 10 teams are participating in the tournament who will play in different league matches for the cup.
