Follow teachings of Guru Ravi Dass: Rajni Bala

JAMMU, Mar 14: Rajni Bala, Councilor Ward No. 60 today urged people to follow the teachings and the path shown by Guru Ravi Dassji.
The Councilor was speaking during a religious congregation held here at Guru Ravi Dassji Temple Paloura.
Rajni Bala said that the teachings of Guru Ravi Dass holds more relevance today than before as they professed equality and social justice, which the country right now is striving to achieve.
She said that being part and parcel of the country which produced great saints and seers who showed the path of peace, harmony and brotherhood to the society, it becomes significant for all to shun differences on the basis of caste, colour and creed, and live in compete harmony.
The Councilor gave a message to the devotees present on the occasion that helping poor and destitute should be their first priority as there is no better deed than providing succor to helpless.
Earlier, the Councilor was felicitated by Piran Ditta President Central Sabha, J&K and Raj Pal Hans President Paloura Guru Ravi Dass Sabha besides other office bearers.
Lauding the good work done by Rajni Bala, Piran Ditta said that the people of this ward are fortunate enough that they she has been elected second time in a row and rendering her services for the people tirelessly. He made a point that such leaders are the assets of the society as they readily work for mitigating the problems of people through best possible way. He asked Rajni Bala to continue with the good work and satiate people’s aspirations as much as she can.
Raj Pal Hans thanked her for being the part of this religious programme and inspiring the organizers to carry on with more of such functions in the coming days.
