JAMMU, Mar 14: An awareness Programme on HIV/AIDS and drug de-addiction was organized by Public Welfare Organization Jammu today under aegis of J&K AIDS Control Society at Trilokpur, Shiv Vihar Jammu which was attended by large number of people of the area. Dr Akash Bhat was the chief guest on the occasion. Sanjay Dhar, Vivek Bali , Urmila Bali Corporater Achabal, Priti Raina and Vinod Pandita, prominent social activists attended the programme as special invitees. Dr Akash Bhat senior Dental Surgeon (Orzo dental clinic) delivered lecture on the topics of HIV/Aids and drug de-addiction in depth and imparted awareness on the subject to the participants.
Sanjay Dhar, Vinod Pandita, Vivek Bali, Urmila Bali Corporater Achabal and Priti Raina also while speaking on the occasion delivered lectures on the topic and imparted awareness to the participants how to take preventive measure to prevent from spreading such dreaded diseases. They further said that drug addiction is a social evil that needs to be eradicated from the society that is the need of the hour. Others who spoke on the occasion were Vinod Koul, Muskan Raina, Rajat Bali and others. In the end vote of thanks was presented by Soni Pandita, President Public Welfare Organization. |
