JAMMU, Mar 14: Jammu Province Peoples’ Forum (JPPF) is celebrating 175th Sthapana Diwas (Foundation/Raising day) of J&K on March 16 at Maharaja Hari Singh Statute near Tawi Bridge Jammu. M S Katoch told media persons that JPPF started celebrating this historical day from 2015 and this is the sixth year of celebration. He further added that a decision in this regard was taken in the year 2014 under the Presidentship of Pavitar Singh that for the last 70 years the history of J&K is gradually brought to an end and nothing pertains to J&K’s history is either taught or organized then how the coming generations would come to know about the great history of this wonderful erstwhile state. Therefore in order to bring awareness among the public a function is organized on March 16 at 11am at Maharaja Hari Singh Ji statute near Tawi Bridge Jammu. Public at large invited to participate and witness the event to revive its lost glory. The members present were Avinash Bhatia, Resham Singh, Surinder Veer, Pritam Sharma, Ram Rattan Sharma, M L Sharma, Prof R P Sharma, Garu Ram and Col Sushil Pathania. |
