| Plus Two Lecturers' Forum hails placement of Sr Lecturers | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 16: Central Executive body meeting of All J&K Plus Two Lecturers' Forum was held under the chairmanship of its president Deepak Sharma in which he hailed Secretary Education for Placement of 1700 Senior Lecturers.
Deepak Sharma said that 10+2 cadre has suffered a lot in the absence of ACP/Time Bound Promotion and they have to wait for about 20 long years for next promotion as principal with a meager enhancement of Rs 200 in grade pay(pre- revised) and only consolation in between is their placement as Senior lecturer with two advance increments as per SRO 481 but unfortunately, no list of Senior Lecturers was released since Dec 2013 causing a considerable financial loss to those due for the same and despite repeated reminders and submissions to those at helm of affairs from time to time but they are quite happy and fortunate that Secretary BK Singh agreed to their request and fulfilled his commitment and released the Senior Lecturers list in a time bound manner.
This has rekindled their faith in system and hoped that all pending issues will also be resolved one by one under the dynamic stewardship of BK Singh. Forum also demanded expediting of regularization of all left out cases right from incharge Lecturer to Joint Directors especially Principals thereby paving the way not only for promotion list of CEOs but also an additional list of Senior Lecturers.
Forum also reiterated their demand of release of promotion list of Higher Secondary School Principals for smooth functioning of School Education Department as about 300 schools are lying headless and also stressed that charge allowance be given to about 2000 Lecturers working in incharge capacity to end exploitation of human resource.
