JAMMU, Mar 17: Surgical Gastroenterology, Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics, and CTVS OPDs will be held in association with Maxxlyfe Hospital and Trauma Center, Jammu on March 20.

To provide best-in-class treatment to the residents of the city, HCMCT Manipal Hospitals, New Delhi would be organizing four Super Specialty OPDs on a single day. Surgical Gastroenterology, Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, and CTVS (Cardio) OPDs will be held in association with Maxxlyfe Hospital and Trauma Center, Jammu on March 20 (Saturday) from 10 AM to 1 PM. The multi-specialty OPDs will be conducted by Dr Shailendra Lalwani, Head of Department of Liver Transplant and Hepato-Pancreatic-Biliary Surgery, Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Consultant, Department of CTVS Surgery, Dr Anurag Saxena, HoD, Neurosurgery, and Dr. Rajeev Verma-HOD & Consultant -Joints Replacement and Orthopaedic from HCMCT Manipal Hospitals. Jammu region -both rural and urban areas- has been facing the considerable burden of these Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs).
There is also an urgent need to create awareness among people about these diseases both for prevention, advanced treatment, and care, added the experts. The Hospital has Centres of Excellence in Surgical Gastroenterology, Joint Replacement & Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, and Cardiovascular diseases.
