| People protest over absence of staff in Chingis Naibat | | |

RAJOURI, Mar 17: A protest was carried out by the people of Kallar and adjoining villages against Rajouri administration over absence of staff in Chingas niabat at Kallar. Locals said that the office is closed since last 10-15 days and people are suffering a lot as they are unable to get their work done in Niabat.
Locals said that the niabat is just 15 kilometers away from Rajouri town but the attitude of revenue authorities is very surprising towards the people.
Raising slogans against administration, they warned to hit the roads if administration fails to ensure functioning of niabat in a regular way.
When contacted, Tehsildar Rajouri Mohammad Rafiq said that he is busy in other works and has no time to look into the matter. Locals have sought the attention of DC Rajouri over the issue. |
