Jammu, Mar 23: Government Degree College Paloura today organised a rally as a part of ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahatsav’ to commemorate 75th year of India’s Independence from college campus towards Kangarh Morh, Kot, Jammu. The rally was flagged off by Ramneek Kaur, Principal of the college.
60 students carrying placards, banners, national flag participated in the rally to pay homage to the great leaders of the freedom struggle by raising slogans of national unity and integration like Bharat Mata Ki Jai, Vande Matram, Satya Mev Jayte, Sare Jahan sey acha Hindustan hamara.
Principal, Ramneek Kaur appreciated the efforts of the students and the organizing committee. She paid tribute to the great Indian freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the Independence of the country.
The whole event was conducted and co-ordinated by Savi Behl, Anoop Kumar, Sapna Sharma, Shivani Sharma, Gaurav Kumar, Pooja Sharma, Gowhar A. Shapoo, and Natasha Baloria. |
