Separatist kid’s ‘reality show’ fails to impress Kashmir
3/25/2021 12:04:51 AM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Mar 24: The daughter of a senior separatist leader in Kashmir allegedly staged a prank video in the national capital to fuel the separatist sentiment but failed to impress the people back home.
The daughter of a senior separatist leader, who was also accused in a plane highjack in the past, was seen in purported video talking to a “stranger” in the national capital.
The stranger was seen asking her where is she from and she replied that she is a Kashmiri. During the conversation, she was heard using some provocative phrases to show that Kashmir was “forcibly with India.” The man in the video was seen talking to her for five-ten minutes after shaking hands with her in some public park where she was sitting.
Sources said through the video the woman wanted to gain popularity in Kashmir as new “separatist voice.” But the video failed to impress the audience.
“Scripted hijacking of Ganga aircraft by father, scripted activism in Europe by son and now scripted video in Delhi by a daughter.
#This family is all about fraud and deceit # PS: Stop idolising and celebrating vultures who all along their lives have thrived on blood of opressed Kashmiris but pose as the patriots and messiahs,” said one person on Facebook.
Observers said the video looked like a “fixed match”. “Why would you talk to any stranger and that too so provocatively about Kashmir. This was nothing but a fixed match,” said a professor at Jammu University who saw the video. Sources said the “separatist kid” was trying to be the new voice of separatism in Jammu and Kashmir. “Most of the leaders and their families want to keep the pot of so called Kashmir issue boiling only for their personal interests,” said the professor on the condition of anonymity.
He said the government must act against such provocative statements “because the same has gone against the interests of Naya Kashmir” as envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
