One week workshop in Research Methodology concludes at JU

Jammu, Mar 28: The one week workshop in Research Methodology organized by the Human Recourse development centre and Department of Urdu, University of Jammu today concluded here by organizing a valedictory function in the Prof. Gian Chand Jain seminar hall of the Department of Urdu, University of Jammu. Prof. Dipankar Sen Gupta, Director Poonch Campus was the Chief Guest on the occasion while Prof. Sunil Upal, Principal M.A.M College was the Guest of Honour, Prof. Shohab Inayat Malik, HOD Urdu and Prof. Rahul Gupta Director HRDC were also present on the praesidium. Various speakers highlighted the benefits of this workshop. The scholars and faculty members of various colleges spoke on the occasion and describe the workshop as a meaningful one. They said that they had come to know various new aspects of research. The Recourse person who delivered lectures for one week was an informative one. They praise the lecturers of Prof. Jigar Mohd, Prof. R.D. Sharma, Prof. G.M. Bhat and Dr Jeevan Jyoti and others and describe these lecturers as valuable ones in the sense because they have gained knowledge about Research from these informative lecturers.
Prof. Dipankar Sen Gupta congratulated the Department of Urdu and HRDC for organizing a meaningful workshop on Research methodology and hope that these types of workshops would be organized in future also so that Research scholars could know more and more about new techniques of Research. Prof. Sunil Upal Principal M.A.M College too spoke on the occasion he lauded the efforts of the Department of Urdu, University of Jammu for organizing Academic, Literary and Cultural activities frequently. He also highlighted some works which were done in M.A.M College during his tenure. He informed that many literary and academic activities were conducted in the M.A.M College in the recent past. All the roads of college were blacktopped besides some initiatives have been taken to make the college academically sound. He demanded that University should organize these types of workshops in M.A.M College too and extended his full support for organizing these activities.
Earlier Prof. Rahul Gupta presented a welcome address and Prof. Shohab Inayat Malik, HOD Urdu and Dean Faculty of Arts presented a formal vote of thanks. It is pertinent to mention here that the workshop was organized for the scholars and faculty members of Humanities and languages. Near about 67 teachers and scholars participated in the said workshop. The certificate was also distributed among the participants by the Chief Guest Prof. Depanker Sen Gupta and Guest of Honor Prof. Sunil Upal.
