As per the details available with Early Times, the inhabitants of Ward number 4 in Kishtwar district are battling hard to get the link road passing the area free from encroachment, but same thing didn’t stop despite the senior revenue officials remove the same in past, but it was again and again encroached by some influential persons who had no fear of law and let its writ to run despite repeated request by the local inhabitants.
The inhabitants said that they have submitted the application to Executive Officer Municipal Council Kishtwar as well as the District Administration reporting about the illegal construction and encroachment of the road in the ward, but no one took the issue seriously.
They alleged that a strong headed person also damaged the wall of the road and used its material for construction of his illegal house adding that the authorities earlier also removed the encroachment done by the concern person at start point of the road, but this time he started encroachment at the other part of the road as result of which the people are suffering due to non availability of proper road width at the encroachment site.
