| SSP Chandan Kohli’s actions speaks | | 300 grams gold, 10 stolen bikes recovered | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 4: SSP Jammu Chandan Kohli’s presence is very much visible as 300 grams of gold and 10 stolen bikes were recovered by the sub division R S Pura. No doubt the outgoing SSP Jammu Shridhar Patil too has a role in this recovery, but the Jammu Police in RS Pura nabbed notorious thieves and recovered around 30 tolas (300 grams) of gold and 22 tolas (200grams) of silver and 10 motorcycles. Addressing media persons, SSP Jammu, Chandan Kohli said that special teams of RS Pura Police led by Inspector Jai Pal Sharma SHO Police Station RS Pura and Inspector Aijaz wani SHO Police Station Miran Sahib supervised by SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan and SP Headquarters Jammu Adil Hamid constituted by SSP Jammu to nab the thieves after some theft cases were registered in different police stations in sub-division RS Pura. SSP said that special Police teams working on technical and human inputs arrested a notorious thief Sohan Lal resident Chakroi and on his disclosures police teams raided some places in Punjab and recovered gold as well as silver ornaments. One gold smith namely Kartar Chand M/S Om Jeweller’s Jalandhar was also arrested by the police to unearth the greater conspiracy. Around eight theft cases registered in different police stations in RS Pura, Bishnah, Arnia and Miran Sahib stand solved with the recovery of the gold and silver ornaments. Simultaneously the team of Police station Miran Sahib arrested two thieves namely Shubam kamar resident of Deoli Bishnah and Anku Kumar resident Kanah Chak RS Pura and on their disclosures 10 stolen motorcycles were recovered. |
