Drain system of ward no. 14 sec 2 Bhagwati Nagar converted into 'ganda nallah'

JAMMU, Apr 15: Residents of the Bhagwati Nagar 14 Sector 2 alongwith the leader of Dogra Youth staged a protest against JMC for defunct drainage system in Ward 14 Sector 2 Bhagwati Nagar due to which they are facing immense trouble.
The protest was held under the leadership of Bhanu Partap Singh Goria in the pressence of poltical activist Partap Singh Jamwal.
Addressing the media, Bhanu Said that we are stuck inside our houses for the last several days, and there remains a constant threat to our children and other.
He said that there is hardly any town in the country that does not have its ganda (dirty) nala (drain). In many places the ganda nala has become a part of the city's psyche and even the city's directional landmark. The drain system of ward no. 14 sec 2 Bhagwati Nagar is converted into the Ganda Nala.
On the occassion, Partap Singh Jamwal alleged that the drainage in the area is defunct and there is nobody to listen to our woes.
Partap demanded that the administration should take appropriate action in this regard so the locals of the said ward get relief from this.
Other who were present including Akash Meenia, Vishal Gupta, Sham Lal, Mangat Ram, Ajay Kumar and Bharat Thakur.
