Early Times Report

Udhampur, Apr 18: India is battling a second wave of coronavirus infection, which is more deadly than before.
The number of new cases is increasing at a faster pace in the second wave. While greater domestic availability of vaccines will improve India's effort to fight the second wave, vaccination by itself will not be enough to keep the number of infections low.
People are not wearing masks or following social distance norms. A recent survey shows that although 90 percent of Indians are aware of the need to wear masks, only 44 percent are doing so.
Realizing this situation, the Senior Citizens’ Club (Regd) Udhampur launched a massive awareness campaign and mask distribution program.
Under the umbrella of this program, club members and their young ambassadors will deliver door-to-door masks to make people aware of the deadly effects of corona viruses and the rapidly spreading wave of coronaa viruses that preceded the first phase and to alert the people of appropriate measures to remain safe. President of the club Mahadeep Singh Jamwal gave this information during the weekly meeting of the club.
The club appealed to the general public to strictly follow the guidelines to keep themselves safe and healthy in the current state of the second phase of Corona, which is more dangerous and deadly.
The club's general secretary and yoga expert Raj Guru advised to practice yoga and said that continuous yoga increases immunity, allowing the body to fight the corona virus strongly.
