WSGNNJ urges JMC to undertake proper cleaning

Jammu, Apr 18: Welfare Society Guru Nanak Nagar Jammu urged upon Municipal Corporation Jammu to undertake a proper cleaning and sanitation drive in wake of the ongoing fresh wave of Corona Virus.
It is pointed out that although every house is being charged with Rs. 100/- per month by ten Municipal Corporation but there is shortage of garbage collecting vehicles and staff and because of which heaps of garbage are lying at every nook and corner.
Balwinder Singh Rinku President said that when there were very few cases of Corona in the city the Corporation had undertook sanitation drive but now when the city is facing threat of exploration of COVID 19 and sanitation of the public places is a must then there is total absence of the same. Society also showed a lot of concern with regard to no maintenance of social distancing and not using face mask by general public and shopkeepers in particular and requested public to refrain from any such acts which can lead to spread of Corona Virus and also advised that people with 45 years of age and above should with medical advice and as per Government guidelines should get themselves vaccinated. We all must stand together to defeat this notorious wave of COVID 19 as responsible citizens for the sake of our society and humanity.
