JAMMU, Apr 18: The executive committee of Jammu & Kashmir Pensioners Welfare Federation, Senior Citizens Civil Society and working committee of All J&K Low Paid Government Servants Federation in an extraordinary “condolence meeting” expressed grief and sorrow on the sad demise of father of Navin K Chowdhary, IAS Principal Secretary to Govt, Agriculture Production and Farmer Welfare Department, at Patna, Bihar. The senior trade union leaders of the state in the condolence meeting expressed sympathy and solidarity to the bereaved family. The meeting was presided over by Sampat Prakash, State President who described Navin K. Chowdhary as most dynamic, visionary and sympathetic from the core of his heart for working class problem of the state particularly Govt employees and pensioners. Under his leadership, four lakh Govt Employees both Gazatted and Non-Gazatted and three lakh pensioners could fulfil the dream of seventh pay commission recommendations when he was Principal Secretary to Govt, Finance Department during the last regime. The govt employees and pensioners got big relief in respect of their pay structure.
Sampat Prakash once again expressed full sympathy on this hour of grief to Navin K Chowdhary and his family.
