AKhnoor, Apr 19: In ongoing Veterans Cricket Cup at Akhnoor todays match was played between Jammu warrior Veterans and Akhnoor Veterans at Govt Higher Secondary School Akhnoor. Akhnoor Veterans won the toss and elected to bat first. Batting first Akhnoor Veterans scored only 91/10 in 17 overs and only Rahul langer from Akhnoor Veterans scored in double figures i.e. 37(20) . From Jammu Warriors Veterans Lucky got 3 Wickets, Jindu got 2 Wickets while sunil and ruby shared 1 each.
Batting second Jammu warriors veterans easily chased the target and scored 92/2 in 13.1overs. Sanatan Dev Singh scored 34(32), Kaka 18(26), Joginder Singh 24(16) were top scorers from Jammu warriors veterans and from Akhnoor Veterans Arun Dev Singh got 2 wickets. Lucky Singh was judged man of the match. Sonu Malhotra and Manav Mehta were umpires and Devpal was scorer. Tournament is being organized by Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor under the overall supervision of Kr Sham Singh Langeh (General Secretary JKCA District Jammu). |
