AJKLTF organises conference on NEP 2020 at Ramban

Ramban, Apr 19: All Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh Teachers Federation and Akhil Bhartyia Rashtryia Shikshak Mahasangh organised a Conference on National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 at Bhartyia Vidyia Mandir HS Ramban's conference hall.
The programme was designed based on the theme: “A New Vision for Youth in NEP 2020”. A press release by AJKLTF /ABRSM stated that in his keynote address, Devraj Thakur President All Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh Teachers Federation aft. with Akhil Bhartyia Rashtryia Shikshak Mahasangh J&K delivered a briefing of NEP 2020 with references on the education system of Finland and other Nations .
He dwelt upon the objectives of NEP 2020 as the filling of various gaps between national and international level of education system.
He also highlighted few positive cruxes of NEP 2020 in particular enhancement and development of students holistically for critical thinking; autonomy for innovative curriculums to colleges and universities; value based education and project based learning; fostering research; reformed assessment patterns; adoption of government schools by private sectors and promotion unique identity of each institute.
Earlier, AJKLTF District President Vipan Sharma , delivered welcome address while vote of thanks was delivered by secretary Pardeep singh. Other prominent personalities who attended the conference were Nita Devi District Ramban President (women wing AJKLTF), Vijay Singh Thakur, P S Thakur, Ajit Katerwal, Sudershan Singh, Pawan Kishore and Vidya Sen.
