Early Times Report

Rajouri, Apr 28: The works under Back to Village programme in Panchayat Nallah of tehsil Sunderbani of district Rajouri failed to take off due to non preparation of work estimates by the concerned Junior Engineer.
Locals alleged that under B2V programme around Rs 9.80 lakh was approved for four roads work in the Panchayat Nallah and government had sought resolution from concerned Panchayat.
The Panchayat presented resolution for four roads in the meeting including Village Nursery Mohalla to Thumba, PMSGY Road to Garan Mohalla, Panchayat Ghar to Makol Nallah and Barna bridge to Nallah Mohalla. Concerned Junior Engineer had to prepare report of four roads and had to submit with the concerned block office but failed to prepare it.
“RBM, Walls works had to be done for construction of road,” they said. Locals appealed to Div Com Jammu to resolve the issues at the earliest. When JE Rajesh Raina of Block Sunderbani was contacted, he said that he was busy in some personal issues and soon he would prepare the estimate.
