Senior district officer, doctor test positive for COVID-19

KISHTWAR, May 4: After three doctors viz two physicians and a surgeon tested positive for COVID 19 few days ago, another doctor today tested positive for COVID 19 along with senior District Officer posted on key post in the administration. As per the details available with Early Times, Dr Noor ul Hassan, Nodal officer (Contract tracing and Home isolation) of Block Kishtwar after developing symptoms today tested positive for COVID at District Hospital Kishtwar.. Speaking to Early Times, Dr Noor ul Hassan confirm that he tested positive for COVID and had isolated himself at home. He said that he got vaccinated few days ago and initially thought that he might feel the fever due to the impact of vaccination, but on testing today he got confirmation about his positive test. Meanwhile senior officer in District administration also tested positive for COVID 19 and had been put under home isolation.
Speaking to Early Times, senior officials in the administration confirmed that the officer has been tested positive for COVID 19 added that the officer is presently in home isolation and his health parameters are normal and are continuously being monitored.
Early 3 positive cases were reported from the office complex of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar including two peons posted in ACR office complex last week.
