Early times Report

JAMMU May 7: Apni Party Provincial Secretary (Jammu) Rohit Gupta has expressed grave concern over the working of administration in equipping itself to cater to the needs of the people of Jammu and Kashmir despite Covid havoc in the entire Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
While appreciating the Lt. Governor J&K for taking adequate measures in handling the overall situation but due to continuous spike in Covid cases in J&K, the situation has taken a very serious turn and due to non availability of beds in hospitals , medicines, oxygen , shortage of covid vaccines etc., have created a panic and mental agony among the people as well making Chest Disease Hospital Jammu a triage center is another mistake as patients have to report here and then only referred to some other hospitals which is a clear wastage of time and baring big risk to the lives of patients . He has appealed Lt. Governor J&K and UT administration to make necessary arrangements for overcoming the listed shortcomings in the Hospitals forthwith so that precious human lives are saved at any cost.
He has further appealed for speeding up of vaccination programmes among the public as well as ensuring required supply of Covid Vaccines to the Health centers to overcome their shortages. He also said that necessary measures be adopted well before the start of the predicted 3rd dangerous wave of this virus that may be affecting our younger generation and administration must also gear up itself to tackle any emergency in view of this predicted third. Wave.
