This unit has been established by young entrepreneur Gourav Sharma, S/o Tilak Raj Sharma VPO Sherpur Bala, Tehsil Hiranagar, District Kathua. CAO Vijay Kumar Upadhaya and District Officer Agricultural (Ext) speaking on the occasion said thethis unit will not only generate employment but also help to produce an alternative to chemical fertilizer.
In today’s time organic farming is the huge demand of the organic community due to the hazardous effect of chemical fertilizer in the human body, they added.
They said that the Department of Agriculture is always eager to facilitate such efforts especially by young entrepreneurs like Gourav Sharma. The Department of Agriculture always encourages the farmers to adopt such fertilizers but due to non-availability of quality bio-fertilizer, such practice is not being adopted by the farmers. Gourav Sharma said that he will try his best to provide the quality bio-fertilizer to farmers at a very reasonable price so that our district converts into an organic district, adding that he will always work in the welfare of farmers with the help of the Department of Agriculture.
