Duggar Manch organises Online Kavi Ghoshthi

JAMMU, May 10: Duggar Manch organised an online Kavi Ghoshthi through Google Meet to highlight the immeasurable contribution of mothers, acknowledge their efforts and role in building the lives of their children.
Oriya poet Pravasini Mahakud, was chief guest on the occasion while Rakesh Verma was Resource Person, Dogri Drama session.
The poets participated in the event with great zeal and presented their poems on mothers.
Duggar Manch President Mohan Singh, in his address at the start of the programme, said the conduct of event was an effort for promoting talent.
The poets who presented their poetry included Mohan Singh, Dr Sarita Khajuria, Diksha Kaluria, Samvedna Sharma, Svaranterta, Gharo Choudhary, Dr Surita Sharma, Advocate Naresh Raina, Rohit Sharma (Mantoo), Dr Shushma Rani, Dr Shushma Choudhary and Dr Shweta Awasthi
The participants, through their presentations, elaborated the role of a mother on one's life. They were of the view that a mother is the one who shapes character and personality of her children. Mothers are the angel on the earth who loves their children unconditionally, teach good manners and guides them to the right path in life, said Samvedna Sharma, one of the Dogri poetess. "A mother’s unvarying efforts, priceless love and dedication should be recognized and cherished every day, even when it is not Mother’s day," she stated.
Organiser of the programme Mohan Singh thanked the poets for their participation and encouraged them ‘to take a pledge to make every day special for our mother and fill her days with warmth and joy.’ Duggar Manch has been working for the promotion of Dogri Art, culture, Language, and Literature,he informed.
