| All J&K Plus2 Officers Association reveal identity; claim other false | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 11: A press conference was conducted under the Presidentship of Dr Prithvi Paul Raina in which it was announced that the Association namely “All J&K Plus2 Officers Association “got registered again under JK UT Act vide number 58 ,with the office bearers as President Dr PP Raina ( Dr Prithvi Paul Raina),Vice President Male Rajeev Kumar Sharma, Vice President Female Neetu Sharma, General Secretary Narinder Kumar Sharma, Jt Secretary Kapil Kumar Banotra, Publicity Secretary Suresh Kumar Raina, Treasurer. Sanjeev Kumar, besides Chief Advisor, Balbir Kumar Sudan (DEPO ), Chief Coordinator Ajay Sharma (Principal ) , Chief Organizer Sanjew Kumar Pandita (Principal ), Honorary Chief Advisor:Rtd Principal Om Parkash Sharma, Honorary Advisors Rtd Principal Om Prakash Sudan, Rtd Principal Kundan Lal Raina, Rtd Principal Suresh Chowdhury and others .
While elaborating about the registration of the Association, Dr.P.P Raina said that it is the only registered association of School Education Department with approved Constitution and the Bye Laws. It has been Registered after getting the clearance from respective District Magistrates, Vigilance Department and the Crime Branch of JK UT.
It was also highlighted in the conference that for the last few years a forum pretending to be plus two lecturers has been in the news on and off claiming to be the only forum which has been fighting the cause of the cadre has never been registered by neither the then state Govt nor the New JK UT .
All the claims have been investigated and found false. Also, it is unfortunate that the president who was elected for a tenure of 3 years in May 2014 but she resigned from the post of President in 2015 while getting voluntary Superannuation and the tenure was to be over in 2017 but since then neither an election was held nor the body Dissolved till date for the last 7years, but it seems that this forum is selected for centuries to come.
On the other hand some of the members of the so called forum have always sought their benefits and have been benefited in turn leaving the cadre without providing any help. It had neither approved Constitution nor Bye Laws ,even there is no discipline and accountability as it collected huge amounts from the cadre without any receipt and transparency.
The Association also requested to allot an accommodation either preferably in Teachers Bhawan Jammu as well as in Teachers Bhawan Srinagar or in SCERT Jammu or DIET Jammu to establish a central Office of the Registered Association at an earliest. |
