LG’s package will overcome many problems for commoners: Sat

JAMMU, May 13: Former State President BJP and ex-MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) hailed the recently announced financial package by the LG Manoj Sinha and stated it as a revolutionary step in the pandemic for the commoners across J&K.
He stated this while addressing a virtual meeting of Janipur Mandal BJP which was held under the leadership of Mandal President Raveesh Mengi.
The meeting was also attended by District President Munish Khajuria, District Prabhari and Seh-Prabhari Rekha Mahajan & Shailja Gupta, District General Secretary Advocate Karan Sharma and other activists of the party.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that it is indeed a major step taken by the LG and it was the need of the hour during the pandemic. He said financial assistance for Covid-19 victim families will mitigate the sufferings of families who have lost their loved ones to the pandemic.
He also said release of payment under SDRF to all DC's and Div Comm's and JK Police including other assistances will cope with the requirements of both divisions. He also thanked the LG for looking into the matters related to oxygen supply and beds in hospital for the patients.
He also asked the BJP activists to stay in touch with the people, adding that whatever and wherever is required to the needy will be provided. He said the party has also constituted various committees and the teams must see that whosoever falls under the categories of the assistance announced by the LG, the benefits must be provided to the people.
He also said that rations, medicine kits are also being provided to people by BJP activists across Jammu West. He also asked the activists present in the meeting to follow the norms of social distancing and keep themselves safe as well while doing the service to mankind.
The proceedings of the meeting were conducted by General Secretaries Sanjay Bhat and Sangeeta Verma.
