| Police arrest Covid positive trio in Poonch | | |

Poonch, May 19: Police on Wednesday arrested three persons, who tested COVID positive and fled away, in Poonch district. According to the details available with Early Times three persons who were traveling were tested at testing point Kalai and their report came positive. “They knew they were positive and fled away. They tried to run away again after being tested but a police team under the supervision of SSP Poonch Dr. Vinode Kumar arrested them after some time. Police have lodged FIR No. 115/2021 against them at concerned police station under sections 188/269/270/IPC,” a police official said. Station House Officer Poonch said, "The trio has been sent to quarantine centre at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Poonch.” The SHO urged people to cooperate with police during these testing times. “People should not run away and if anyone tries to do so action would be taken against him/her under law.” |
