Kotranka, May 19: Govt degree College Kotranka, under Career Counselling Cell of the college organized a Webinar on “ Career Opportunities in Mass Media” today.
Dr Mohd Mushtaq, Coordinator Career Counselling Cell of the college welcomed the resource person of the webinar Illyas Ahmed, content editor and Anchor at ETV Bharat.
Formally welcoming the resource person and audience to the webinar, Principal of the college Prof Rajinder Singh said that it is matter of pleasure for the college that it is organising a career counselling session on such an important topic which will help the students to choose their path in career. He added that in the coming days, the college will organize more such webinars on different topic for the larger benefit of the students community. events.
Mr Illyas Ahmed, the resource person of the session elaborated the history of different medias likes Print, Radio, TV and digital media and gave detailed presentation on career opportunities in respective fields. sharing his experience of working with TV and digital media, he said that due to internet revolution it has become very easy for all the citizen of the country and especially the youth to unearth the ills of the society and share it on social media so that it may help the society in better way.
Giving his final remarks at the end of the session, Principal of the college praised the resource person for his apt use of time and elaborating the different medias in easy way. He added that the session was very beneficial for students which will help them in choosing their career.
He asked students to opt any course , but do their best in whatever they are opting and serve the society by using their profession.
The webinar came to conclusion with the vote of thanks to Principal, resource person and the participants from Dr Mohd Mushtaq Coordinator Career Counselling Cell of the college.
