Apni party leaders visit SDH Sohanjana, CHC RS Pura to take stock of arrangements

JAMMU, May 19: A team of Jammu Kashmir Apni Party comprising of Faquir Nath ex-MLA (I/C District Udhampur), Dr Rohit Gupta, provincial Secretary Jammu, Ajaz Kazmi State President Apni Trade Union and Neil Jan Arora District President Jammu (Rural) today visited Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Sohanjana and Community Health Center (CHC) RS Pura to take stock of necessary medical arrangements available in these hospitals for the people in this pandemic.
They interacted with patients, people and Block Medical officers there and appreciated the role of the paramedical staff and doctors of both the Hospitals for rendering their essential services nicely braving all the odds in this tough situation of covid 19 Pandemic..
In a statement Rohit Gupta said that in SDH Sohanjana, after interacting with patients, people visiting hospital and Block Medical Officer Dr Samir Koul, it was found that covid vaccination and testing is being carried out properly to entire satisfaction of the people of the area which is highly appreciable.
Rohit further said after visiting 50 bedded CHC RS Pura which caters to medical needs of maximum rural population, it was found after interaction with patients , visiting people and Block Medical Officer that vaccination and covid testing here is also being carried out on war footing smoothly except the vaccination for age group of 18 to 45 which is now need of the hour. Rohit further stated that more attention needs to given to other rural areas on improving medical infrastructure immediately to prevent the spread of Covid-19 pandemic which has spread its tentacles in the rural belt also.
