Deputy Mayor JMC conducts sanitization drive of major market areas of Jammu

Jammu, May 20: Adv. Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor JMC along with Sanjogita Sudan, Health Officer JMC conducted sanitation drive of various major markets of city of temples in order to ensure the safety of local public from the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The sanitization drive started off from Raghunath Bazar covering the Raghunath bazar market area, Rajinder Bazar area, Kanak Mandi and finally ended at Bharat Mata Chowk.
Purnima Sharma, said that in the present hour of crisis, much needed service is being provided by the Corona Warriors to us so that we all can remain safe at our homes. She said that it is our duty to raise their morale and honour their services as they are contributing for our concern.
She said that everyone of us must do our bit in this long battle against the corona virus.
Deputy Mayor, said that we all should help our fellow beings by aiding the needy or even ensuring of essential commodities to everybody. She said that the corona Pandemic has crippled global resource supply and a major chunk of population is feeling restlessness to acquire the basic amenities at the time.
Purnima Sharma, said that it is duty of everyone of us to contribute in any possible way, but at the same time, she insisted that the biggest contribution will be not to venture out of our homes unnecessarily. She simultaneously appealed to all for strictly adhering to the guidelines issued by the enforcement agencies and to cooperate to check the spread of COVID-19 infection.
The sanitation drive was conducted in the presence of concerned Corporators, Team of Sanitary Supervisors and Team of Health Department of JMC.
