Poonch police distributes essential supply to families below poverty line

Jammu, May 20: In an effort to help the people below the poverty line fighting the COVID-19 virus, Jammu and Kashmir Police in Distt Poonch distributed essential supply to underprivileged families. Police personnel were seen providing the poor and needy with food and other essential commodities in various parts of Distt Poonch during lockdown.
The district wise lockdown imposed by JKUT Govt to contain the spread of novel coronavirus entered in fourth week. SSP Poonch said that, “police is making efforts to ensure all support to the needy and urged to stay safe “.
We are taking care of the people in this critical hour. Please help us by staying in your homes. People maintain social distancing while collecting essential goods distributed under the supervision of SSP and SHO Poonch. Furthermore, it was day one on Thursday and the situation will be reviewed regularly,” he said.
The cops are performing their task in a dedicated manner. We are delivering ration to people at their doorstep. Medicine is also being delivered at doorstep to old aged people. The cops will continue to work tirelessly to help the needy,” he said. Anybody feeling any sort of problem can directly contact SHO poonch, who is 24×7 available.
