Darakhshan Andrabi awarded with "Human Rights Nobel Award"

JAMMU, May 24: Dr Darakhshan Andrabi has been awarded with Human Rights Nobel Award (HRNA) as Honorary in the category of Most Inspiring Woman of the Year Award-2021.
Dr Darakhshan Andrabi is working as Chairperson Center Waqaf Development Committee under Ministry of Minority Affairs, Govt of India.
She has been honoured for her contribution to society for free education, awareness for plantation of trees, de-addiction camps, and campaign against social evils and exceptional voluntary service to environmental conservation.
Dr Andrabi has taken many new initiatives for the unemployed youth of Jammu & Kashmir.
She is working day and night during these days due to COVID-19. She is also providing financial assistance to the family members of those who have expired due to Covid infection in J&K.
Moreover, Dr Andrabi is helping to provide "special pension" for senior citizens who have lost their bread-earners due to pandemic and the "Special Scholarship" scheme for the children who have lost their parents in this crisis.
“On behalf of Global Human Rights Trust and as a whole, we wish you unlimited success in the future,” HR Rehman, Founder-cum-Chairman GHRT and Sanjeev Singh Secretary GHRT said.
