GCET holds online Inter-college poster making competition

Jammu, May 24: The NSS unit of Government College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu under the guidance of principal of the college Dr. Sameru Sharma, organised an online Inter-college poster making competition on the theme “Environment Enrichment and Conservation” in order to commemorate Azaadi ka Amrut Mahotsav - celebrations of India’s 75 years of independence. Around 40 participants from the different colleges of UTs of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh have taken part and gave their ideas regarding the theme of the events through posters. All the participants will be provided e-certificates. The event was coordinated by NSS Programme Officer Dr. Raman Gupta and NSS volunteers of the college Mandeep Singh, Paras Gupta and Sakshi Bhat. In addition to this around 60 NSS volunteers of Government College of Engineering and Technology (GCET) Jammu also actively participated in the moment initiated by UNICEF and Ministry of Youth Affairs and they took a pledge to act as Young Warriors for for creating awareness among people regarding COVID-19.
