| Online patriotic song competition held | | |

Ramkote, May 26: An Inter- college patriotic song competition was organised by the Literary Club of the Govt Degree College Ramkote from 20th May to 25 May 2021. The Competition was held under the banner of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav celebrating 75th year of India’s Independence.
In the competition as many as twenty students participated from different colleges of JK UT. They displayed their talent in singing patriotic songs through online mode.
The principal of the College, Ashu Vashisht presided over the whole course of activities held under the programme. A three judge committee vis. Prof. Karam Chand, Prof Bavita Kumari and Lect Shewali Gupta from the College was framed under her guidance to select the best three talent singers among all.
Raman Kumar student of semester 4th from GDC Ramkote, Avinandan Sharma student of semester 2nd GLDM Gegree College Hiranagar and Milan student of semester 2nd bagged 1st,2nd and 3rd positions respectively. However, e- certificates of appreciation were also awarded to them on the occasion.
