| Special package of jobs for Valmiki Samaj demanded | | |

Jammu, May 26: State President of different offshoots Sadat Doowal from Jammu and Kashmir in support of Valmiki demand for re-introduction of reservation in the Scheduled Caste (SC)-A category.
He also wrote letter to President of India and handed over a memorandum via Indian Post office to the office of President of India as well as Other Commissions for Minorities New Delhi.
Earlier, Sadat Doolwal appealed Special Status particularly in Jammu and Kashmir for the Valmiki Samaj and for other minorities.
Doolwal said various sects have witnessed improvement in their lives after their inclusion in the SC-A category between 1947 and 2004. The previous governments abolished reservation given under the SC-A category. |
