Complete pending work on nallah in W No 24, urges Corporator Bali

JAMMU, May 26: Corporator Anu Bali appealed to the Government to get the pending work of the UEED Department of JMC to be completed as soon as possible.
Briefing the media regarding the issue, Corporator Anu Bali said that the nallah which was constructed by the UEED department of JMC was also to be covered with a slab, but even after tendering the same work thrice, still the work has not been initiated and as such the Nallah remains Opened/uncovered which impose threat to the lives of the locals living thereShe further said that a total of 12 households are being affected and feel threatened by this unfinished work of nallah near School Education Board in Ward No 24 by the UEED. Corporator Anu Bali appealed to the Government and Commissioner JMC to look into the matter and get the pending work of covering the nallah near education board in Ward No 24, be completed on war footing basis, keeping in view the interests and welfare of the general public.
She further appealed to the general public not to wander out of their houses unnecessarily as COVID-19 cases are on the rise again and only to go out when it's important and while wearing double masks and practicing social distancing.
