Rattan Dogra takes over as Chairman FOIJ

JAMMU, May 26: In a virtual meeting of Federation of Industries Jammu (FOIJ) held today at the premises of Association of Industries, Gangyal, Jammu, Rattan Dogra took over the charge of Chairman of FOIJ for the year 2021-22.
Viraaj Malhotra was elected as Secretary General while Lavinder Singh Puri as Convener, under the constitutional provisions of Federation of Industries, Jammu.
Lalit Mahajan, president, Bari Brahamna Industries Association, Jatinder Aul, President, Small Scale Industries Association, Digiana and Deepak Dhawan, President, Birpur Small Scale Industries Association were also elected as Co-Chairmen.
Rattan Dogra, after taking over as new Chairman, Federation of Industries, Jammu assured that with the support of constituents of Federation of Industries, the relevant issues pertaining to the industrial sector especially the local entrepreneurs of Micro and Small Enterprises of Jammu province will be taken up with the functionaries of J&K UT.
Dogra further assured that the problems and grievances of local industrial unit of Jammu region including Birpur, Bari Brahmana, Digiana and Gangyal and new Industrial Areas being developed by J&K UT Government under the new industrial policy and relevant issues connected with growth and prosperity of the existing units shall be stressed on top most priority basis and to mitigate the sufferings of the local units under the Covid times through specific packages/reliefs sought both from J&K UT and Central Government.
