Deputy Mayor JMC starts off vaccination drive

Jammu, May 26: Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor JMC started off the vaccination drive of the priority group including the shopkeepers, street vendors, shop helpers, etc in the age group of 18-44 Yrs. in the covid vaccination centre of ward no. 1.
During the visit, Purnima Sharma review the Sanitation conditions of the Covid vaccination centre and also interacted with the individuals of the 18-44 age group who had come to get vaccinated with their first dose of covid vaccine.
Speaking on the occasion, Purnima Sharma said that today we have started off the vaccination drive of 18-44 Years priority group in ward no. 01 which includes local shopkeepers, street vendors, shop helpers, etc, as per the Covid-19 vaccination schedule for the vaccination of priority group of the age group 18-44 Yrs.
Deputy Mayor further said that every individual falling in the priority group should get themselves vaccinated asap as this will help in ensuring their safety from COVID-19 virus as well as further help in winning the battle against corona virus.
At the end, Purnima Sharma, appealed to the general public not to wander out of their houses unnecessarily as COVID-19 cases are on the rise again and only to go out when it's important and while wearing double masks and practicing social distancing.
