305 Panchayats get isolation centres, Kot Bhalwal ready with 300 beds: Bharat Bhushan

JAMMU, May 26: DDC Chairman Jammu Bharat Bhushan on Wednesday said that 305 Isolation Centres have been established with 5 beds each in all the Panchayats falling in Jammu District while Kot Bhalwal Block is ready to offer over 300 beds for Covid affected population.
The DDC Chairman said during his visit to 130 bedded COVID hospital established by the district administration in new RTO building here at village Ghaink in Block Bhalwal.
He was accompanied by BDC Chairman Kuldeep Raj, SDM North Pawan Kotwal and Tehsildar Bhalwal, Amit Upadhyaya. Others who were present include Ashok Kerni Mandal Pardhan Raipur Domana Mandal and Sarpanch Panchayat Ghaink Shiv Dev Singh.
Giving details about the COVID Care centre established in Ghaink village, Bharat Bhushan said that district administration has also provided 5 oxygen concentrators to cater to the needs of patients requiring this facility. He said that Bharatiya Janata Party has also done commendable work in providing succor to the corona-hit population by offering free meals, arranging oxygen for needy and providing medicines to those fallen prey to this lethal virus.
He also informed that the party has established 10-bedded COVID care centres in all the constituencies with all the necessary facilities required for COVID patients.
The DDC Chairman said that entire government machinery is on toes to make Jammu District COVID-free and to achieve this feat Panchayati Raj Institutions, BDC members, DDC constituents, Sarpanchs, Panchs and others are working tirelessly to provide succor to the corona-affected population.
