| Hawan yatra to liberate J&K from corona | | |  Early Times report
Jammu, May 27: The Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Panjgrain Nagrota, took out the Havan Yatra from the DC Office on Thursday to liberate the Jammu and Kashmir UT from corona.
The three-day Havan Yatra which was flagged off by the chief guest, Mayor, Jammu Municipal Corporation, Chander Mohan Gupta in the presence of his wife Kamla Gupta, BSS Incharge Jammu and Kashmir, Swami Satyamitrananda and Corporator Gopal Gupta will conclude after visiting all areas in Jammu city.
During Hawan Yatra, Swami Satyamitrananda said a prayer for happiness and prosperity in the society was made with the spirit of world welfare.
Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta appreciated the initiatives of Bharat Sevashram Sangha for the welfare of human beings.
Mayor also appreciated the social work done by the Organisation by reaching to the affected community members at the time of the natural calamities in the J&K State. He said that BSS is engaged in a host of social welfare activities all over the country.
It is contributing towards development of the people at large, and in particular the financially-weak and neglected sections, Mayor said. Mayor believes that the Hawan will purify the atmosphere and the coronavirus floating in the air is destroyed. |
