Impetus on strengthening rural medicare facility continues in Kishtwar

Kishtwar, May 27: With an aim to strengthen the decentralised health care amenities in rural areas of district Kishtwar by establishing and operationalising the 5-bedded COVID care centres with one Oxygen supported bed at panchayat level as per the direction of govt of J&K to tackle the current COVID situation, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Ashok Sharma today continued his series of inspection to various panchayat level CC centres falling under the jurisdiction of block Thakrie and block Palmar besides personally interacted with the concerned PRI members and prominent persons of the areas and solicited their cooperation in the efficient functioning of these centres.
He was accompanied by BDC chairman Thakrie Kishori Lal shan,BDC chairperson Palmar Lalita Devi,DDC members Thakrie Sharifa Begum ,DDC members Palmar Tahir Masood, Tehsildar Kishtwar Pramood kumar,,CMO Kishtwar Dr R S Manhas,
BDO Kishtwar/Thakrie Sheetal sharma,BDO Palmar Lal Chand,BMO Kishtwar Sat Lal Sharma besides concerned sarpanches and panches and officers of line and police department among others.
While interacting with the concerned PRI members and officers of the block Thakrie at the HSS Filler, he stressed them all to work in synergy with each other to identify, enlist and mobilise the COVID positive patients lacking home isolation facilities into these designated centres for proper management and medical care.
Meanwhile tehsildar Kishtwar apprised the DC about the current status of vaccination drive launched for the persons above 45 yrs in the block and appreciated the dedication of the PRI members and people of Thakrie for the smooth conduct of the vaccination drive.
DC Kishtwar appealed the people of Thakrie not to pay heed to the rumours and get the vaccination done in order to curb the pandemic. He asked the PRI members to co-operate the line department and Health authorities to resolve the hiccups in the operationalisation of these facilities in their respective jurisdiction.
