JKBLO association raises TA issue

Jammu, May 27: Vice Chairman JKBLO Association Rakesh Singh presented memorandum to DC office regarding release of T.A for month of May 2021 as BLOs have performed Swasthya Nidhi app duty w.e.f 11 May to 14 May house to house survey as per order of District administration.
" BLO comes under the category vulnerable community as most of them is on duty at vaccination centres so they deserve vaccination at priority who falls in the age group of 18+" Singh added.
Rakesh Singh also urged district administration to recognise the effort of teachers and BLO community who are performing Covid duty along with strict instructions to concerned agencies to issue them safety measures as per SOP for their safety kits and also demanded insurance coverage to all teachers engaged in Covid duty. Concerned official assured to consider all the genuine demands of BLOs at priority including release of T.A in their favour.
