Early Times Report

Jammu, May 27: State coordinators of displaced Kashmiri Pandits of Jammu and Kashmir provinces respectively Vinod Pandita and Sanjay Dhar highlighted the important pertinent issues of Kashmir Pandits living in exile for last more than thirty years and strongly appealed Lt. Governor J&K to pay heed to their woes and worries by resolving them on priority basis
In a Joint statement issued today Vinod Pandita said that posts already earmarked under Prime Ministers Rehabilitation package in 2008 have not been filled completely so far which is a matter of serious concern and the unemployment in the community is on rise & with the result our educated youth is facing a lot of frustration and mental agony. He appealed Lt. Governor J&K to direct the concerned authorities to fill the remaining post of PM package immediately as well create an additional ten thousand new posts for the educated displaced youth to remove unemployment so that they can eke out their living honourably as well serve the people with dedication and hard work.
Sanjay Dhar has said that keeping in view the price hike of daily essential commodities that is touching sky,it has become quite difficult for relief holders of displaced community to make their both ends meet on such a meager monthly assistance of Rs.13000/- that needs to be increased to Rs. 25000/ per month at least immediately keeping in view their domestic constraints as well on going Covid 19 pandemic which has made their life more miserable and pathetic .
