Corporator kicks starts blacktopping work in Ward-47

Jammu, May 28: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Corporator Sharda Kumari today kick started blacktopping work at Sheikh Nagar ward no 47.
The blacktopping work was inaugurated in presence of president Dalveer Singh, Vivek Patyal ,Surinder Kumar , Rinku Sagotra and prominent citizens of Ward-47 to fulfill the long pending demands of the residents.
The work is being executed by the Public Works department in presence of AEE, JE, contractor and corporator.
Later, Sharda along with AEE and JE also visited Ward-47and its surrounding localities, met with the locals, who put forth various issues of public importance such as construction/renovation of pending lanes and drains, blacktopping of the main roads as well as interior lanes, etc.
She gave them a patient hearing and assured them that all their genuine demands be redressed in a time-bound manner and further added that development work going on at Sheikh Nagar in ward no 47 is already being completed with the cooperation of AEE & JE and also due to the support of the people Sheikh Nagar.
