| TWS organises awareness programme | | |

Jammu, May 31: Tawi Welfare Society organised a mass awareness programme regarding Covid 19 in Tawi Island and its adjoining areas.
An announcement was made in the streets of more than 50 villages to abide by the sops/precautions necessary to protect ourselves from corona pandemic.
In the announcement people were told to remain in their houses and avoid going out unnecessarily till the pandemic is over and if necessary wear proper mask while going out, maintain social distancing, wash their hands with soap properly after regular intervals.
If anybody has symptoms like fever, cold, cough or body pain got himself tested and if found positive not to hide it but consult the doctor for treatment.
People were also told to keep themselves and their houses neat and clean. Masks and sanitizer were given to the people at this occasion. Pamphlets giving detailed guidance/instructions about this disease were also distributed.
