| Poster making /slogan writing competition held | | |

Jammu, May 31: NSS Unit of Govt. Degree College R.S. Pura organized an online poster making /slogan writing competition to celebrate the “World No Tobbaco Day” under the guidance of the Principal, Dr. G.S. Rakwal and supervision of Prof.Bindu Kumari,NSS Programme Officer.
The theme for the event was “Commit To Quit”. Students enthusiastically participated in the competition and submitted posters and slogans focusing on 100 million tobacco users to make an attempt to quit smoking successfully .
Sakshi , Sem VI bagged first prize in the competition whereas second prize was shared by Vikas and Rahul of Sem. IV and VI respectively and third prize was bagged by Aarti of Sem II.
The event was adjudged by Prof. Vishal Sharma and Prof. Sukhwinder Kaur. The Principal of the College appreciated the efforts of the NSS unit of the college and lauded the students for their active and meaningful participation. |
