| DYSSD initiates online Yoga refresher course & e-learning training | | |

Kishtwar, May 31: As per the direction of Director General Youth Services and Sports J&K, UT Dr. Saleem-ur- Rahman and under the guidance of District Development Commissioner Ashok Sharma today started the online Yoga classes under the supervision of DYSSO Kishtwar Kharati Lal Sharma.
Speaking on occasion DYSSO Kishtwar said that the online yoga classes will continue on daily basis and would be followed up by Yoga asanas, Physical Fitness and sports injuries by departmental resouce persons Suresh Sharma and Suman kant.
He said that the World continues to fight the pandemic valiantly. There has been resurgence in the number of cases which has caused a widespread concern over the pandemic’s impact on people’s physical and mental health.
In this exacting phase, Yoga with its multi-faceted benefits is proving to be of help to the public and there is widespread appreciation of the health-promoting aspects of Yoga which go a long way in finding the balance in our day-to-day lives in the changed reality, he affirmed. “Consistent practice of Yoga helps to improve health and strengthen natural immunity,” said DYSSO.
All the field staff of the sports department Kishtwar joined the online classes with full enthusiasm and shared good feedback in favour of the event. |
